Order Confirmation and Payment

Customers will receive an order confirmation via email on all submitted orders. It is the customer's responsibility to review the order for accuracy and report any discrepancies in product, quantity, shipping information, etc. Inaccuracies must be reported within 24 hours of order placement.

All residential orders from Vermont Farm Table must be paid in full at the time the order is placed. Trade and commercial orders require a 50% deposit to begin production. The remaining 50% is due prior to shipment. Vermont Farm Table accepts cash and all major credit cards. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. Please be sure to contact us directly regarding any pricing questions or concerns.

Made-to-Order Lead Time

Production lead times vary depending on product and project scale. Please reach out to us for an accurate lead time; if you are trying to hit a specific date let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you! Keep in mind that this lead time does not include shipping or transit time.

White Glove Delivery & Shipping

Once your furniture has been completed at our woodshop in Bristol, Vermont, it can take an additional 1-4 weeks until delivery for our East Coast clients, and 6-8 weeks for our West Coast clients. Each route is pre-determined, and because we are not exclusive to our carriers, they must plan appropriately and efficiently in order to accommodate top-notch service to every customer. Please let us know if you expect to be away for a number of days within this expected delivery range and we will be happy to accommodate you.

All our made to order products are shipped blanket wrapped, and will be delivered fully assembled right into your home. “White Glove" means that you will not need to assist with carrying the furniture. Please let us know when placing your order if your delivery will require any special services due to your building or street requirements.

After your furniture is placed in your home, we ask that you fully inspect the shipment and sign a receipt of delivery acknowledging that the product is correct as ordered and not damaged. It is absolutely essential that you fully inspect the product prior to signing and accepting the order. If you accept a damaged shipment you take full responsibility for the cost of the repair or replacement as well as any return shipping charges. If in doubt, inspect the shipment while the carrier is on location and immediately photo document the area in question. This includes major breakage, scratches, chips, splinters and abrasions not intended in the original product construction. If you reject the shipment due to damage, the cost of the return shipping will be covered by the carrier. Vermont Farm Table will repair or replace your damaged or defective furniture at our cost and/or give you a full refund as long as you have followed these return instructions. Repair or refund is at the sole discretion of Vermont Farm Table.

Furniture Delivery: Will it fit?

We are here for your delivery day success. If you have a question concerning your new furniture and whether it will fit into its final delivery location- ask us! We have a lot of experience in this area and can often customize your furniture to specific constraints. Email us for detailed product dimensions on any item in question. When planning for and considering your furniture delivery please remember to consider elevators, stairwells, corridors, corners, doorways, and any obstacles that might stand in the way. As much as we are here to help, you, the client, are ultimately responsible for ensuring that the furniture will fit into your delivery location. Unfortunately, furniture may not be returned to Vermont Farm Table due to complications regarding physical delivery of your order. Vermont Farm Table will not issue refunds in the event that the furniture does not fit in your space.

Return & Exchange Policy: Custom Orders & Made to Order Products (Furniture)

Our made to order program allows you to specify the exact size and specifications you desire. We work with you individually on each order to ensure that we achieve your vision. We understand that buying custom furniture is a big decision and we work with every client to set clear expectations of quality, wood character, color, and delivery timing prior to processing your order. If needed, you will receive detailed drawings, supporting images, and specifications for your approval. A fee of $59 will be charged for all shop drawings. At minimum, written approval and payment is required before we begin any custom work. Your project’s delivery window will be finalized once payment is received. Your completed project will be shipped once all balances are paid in full, no exceptions. Custom orders are non refundable following the 72 hour grace period from the time that payment is received.


Due to the unique nature of custom pieces, all sales are final on custom and made to order products. Our furniture is non returnable due to wood movement, knots, nail holes, open cracks, dimensional qualities, and other natural features of solid wood construction. We offer no guarantees for color matching and our do not accept returns due to color, stain, paint, and matching issues. Samples are intended for grain, texture, and color approximations. Wood is a natural material and can vary significantly from board to board. Vermont Farm Table makes no guarantees that our samples fully represents the variation expected across the species chosen. Our products are non-returnable due to variation between samples and final products.

Return & Exchange Policy: In Stock Products (Kitchenware & Retail Store Sales)

If within the first 30 days after receiving any standard product you do not remain completely satisfied with your purchase, we will provide you with an exchange or refund for the price of your piece. The product must be in new condition. This policy excludes furniture purchases or on sale items, which are non-returnable.

Warranty

We want you to be completely happy with your new furniture and we stand behind our products. Each Vermont Farm Table piece is handcrafted to the highest standards of care and commitment to quality. If you are displeased with a product you have received, we will work with you to resolve the issue, however, many characteristics of natural wood are subjective. Should our furniture fail within our three year warranty period because of workmanship or a failure of the wood materials, we will either repair or replace it. Some customer requested wood species, finishes, and modifications are excluded. Repair or refund is at the sole discretion of Vermont Farm Table.
